Let me start by introducing myself - I’m Brandon, a 26-year-old travel junkie from South Africa that fell in love with roaming the globe while on my first international trip to Thailand when I was 18. I am the blogger and marketer in a growing team of passionate travelers at Nomad’s Nook.
Growing up in a small town in South Africa nothing could prepare me for how a country like Thailand with a culture so different from my own would open my eyes to the beauty of travel. On my first evening in Phuket, I took a swim in the warmest ocean water I had ever experienced, I didn't even know ocean water could get that warm! I sat in the calm waters watching the most beautiful sunset I had ever laid my eyes on - and believe me African sunsets are something special too! It was in this moment of unknowing excitement, curiosity and euphoria that the travel bug bit me - a moment that all travelers experience and which changes the course of their lives forever. Since that fateful day on a beach in Phuket I have traveled to multiple countries and even lived in a few including Portugal and The Netherlands.
But enough about me and more about our travel movement! As a marketer I have worked for various international brands including Ferrari but there is something special here. You see, Nomad's Nook is not just a brand; it's a revelation born from the souls of avid wanderers like yourself.
